Fashion: Holiday Dresses

‘Tis the season to start planning party outfits. With all the cozy get-togethers and holiday parties lined up, you can start pulling out your sparkly, flashy items from the back of your closet. Just remember to balance your outlandish dresses with some more toned-down options and you’re all set!

  1. Lace Sleeve A-Line Dress

1

For after-work drinks a few weeks before Christmas, choose a beautiful lace sleeve frock. The festive palette makes it fairly dressy, but still comfortable enough in the likely event that you get caught up in the holiday spirit and stay out past midnight. If dresses aren’t your thing, try a lace sleeve blouse paired with a skirt or skinny jeans.

  1. Patterned Mini Dress

1

Dressing for date night should always be about creating a flattering shape, but in December, it should also include festive colors that go with the season. A vivid red dress lights up the evening- and especially pops against black tights and comfortable low-heeled ankle boots.

  1. Lace Sleeve Sheath Dress

1

When it comes to dressing for an office or friend’s holiday party, everyone is out to impress. There’s no better time to turn to a classy evening outfit to capture the holiday spirit. Lace details and strategic cutouts give a classic sheath a ladylike twist.

  1. Detail-Accented Blouse

1

Holidays are about family gatherings, friendly get-togethers, and work parties with coworkers and bosses, so one of the biggest tasks is dressing to impress. A girly blouse, with dainty embellishments or sparkly details, is a sure bet to make a good impression.

  1. Textured Skirt

1

Add a touch of interest to your look with a textured skirt. Pair it with a detail-accented blouse and a minimalist leather jacket for a pulled-together look that’s not too over-the-top, or liven it up with a sweetheart neckline top for effortless sex appeal. Try a fur textured skirt for the perfect marriage of fashion and comfort.

  1. Jumpsuit

2

For a big night out, the jumpsuit is a breezy alternative that packs a major fashion statement and ensures a dressy appearance. The one-piece creates a languid and effortless silhouette that suggests the perfect balance between sophistication and glamour, and takes nothing away from its comfort.

  1. Bow-Accent Panel Sweater

1

For Christmas dinner with the family, choose comfort in the form of a cozy sweater and comfortable pants. The extra room will allow you to enjoy the turkey binge and family time to the fullest. Little embellishments and metallic glimmers of silver or gold add just the right decorative touch.

  1. Leather Trim Skinny Pants

1

Leather accents are essential for winter, and the red shade makes these skinny pants perfect for festive occasions. Pair them with a slouchy tunic and you’re all set for intimate get-togethers with the girls.

  1. Lace or Leather Bodycon Dress

1

Switch things up after Christmas with a perfect little black dress. Lace and leather, along with the body-hugging fit add a touch of much-needed dark, romantic chic after weeks of wearing sequins and festive reds.

10. Two-Tone Pumps

1

Of course, now you need a pair of shoes to finish off your holiday party outfits. Choose a demure two-tone palette that will work with basically anything, and see you through the yuletide season.
