FAPAC members and guests enjoyed a day of fun and networking at the Annual Picnic at the Wheaton Regional Park

Federal Asian Pacific American Council (FAPAC) President, Dr. Kin Wong, welcomed members and guests at the annual picnic at Wheaton Regional Park, Wheaton, MD on a beautiful morning on July 12. The group with over 500 members was founded in 1985 in Washington DC. Each year it held the picnic to promote networking and friendship among members and guests. It also served as a forum to share ideas and best practices across the federal government. Del. Susan Lee from the Maryland House of Delegates and Del. Michael Futrell, her counterpart across the Potomac from the Commonwealth of Virginia also attended the event and addressed the enthusiastic crowd. The Membership Committee signed up some new members. For more information please visit www.fapac.org.
