AA &CC Stages Cambodian Classic

Asian Arts & Culture Center will present “Agangamasor and His Magic Power” by the Cambodian Buddhist Society. Showtime is November 7, Saturday at 8 p.m. at the Stephens Hall Theatre in Towson University

The legendary story of “The Magic Diamond Finger” is a classical dance drama based on an episode of the Reamker, Cambodian version of the Ramayana story, depicting the mythological world as it was prior to the birth of Prince Rama. This performance, never before seen on stage, was especially choreographed and composed by eminent master dancers and musicians who fled Cambodia during the war. They have been teaching at the Cambodian Buddhist Society here for two decades.

Tickets are $16, general admission; $13 for seniors and students; $10 for AA&CC members and TU students with I.D. For tickets, contact the Center for the Arts Box Office, 410-704-2787; www.tuboxoffice. For more information, call (410) 704-2807 or email www.towson.edu/asianarts.
