APALRC Marks 11th Anniversary

The Asian Pacific American Legal Resource Center (APALRC) observed its 11th anniversary on October 21 at Equality Center, 1640 Rhode Island Avenue NW in Washington, D.C. The evening reception celebrated APALRC and its contributions to the region since 1998.

The organization began as a legal referral hotline based at Georgetown Law Center. It has rapidly grown to become the region’s main legal services resource for low-income, limited English proficient members of the Asian Pacific American community. The celebration provided an opportunity for the APALRC’s supporters, including law firms, corporations, foundations, and individuals, to hear more about the APALRC’s work and meet the organization’s founders, board members, staff, and law student volunteers.
