WHY we are Giving Back to the community...?

Reston, VA -- Galerie Brigitte, featuring Vietnamese contemporary art and traditional gifts, Lavender Hill Interiors, a full-service interior design studio, and ArtWorks Gallery will host an evening filled with art, fashion, home décor and holiday gift-giving ideas. The event will be held Thursday December 11th, from 5-9PM at 11411 Sunset Hills Rd, Reston, VA 20190

A percentage of all proceeds through the entire month of December will benefit Reston Interfaith, a nonprofit organization serving Northern Virginia promotes self-sufficiency by providing support and advocacy for those in need of food, shelter, affordable housing, quality child care, and other human services. Gallery owners Brigitte Le, Sonya Dervenis, and Brenda Belfield felt there was a way to make a connection with the community by hosting an event that would benefit a non-profit who has been giving for over eighteen years. They explain, "While all of us are feeling the crunch, this year more than ever we need to think of those hit hardest in these difficult economic times." Join them to meet local artists while enjoying a sampling of international fare. In addition to good food and company, Restonians' favorite Chinese Antiques store Dragonfly will return for a special three-week exhibit in December at the galleries. For more information about the event, please contact Brigitte Le 703-860-2345.
