business opportunities for the region’s Asian Pacific American business
community.
“We are very happy
to have someone of Shu-Ping’s experience and
commitment to further our mission,” said John Young, President of APACC. “Shu-Ping has been
working with the community for a dozen years and has extensive experience in
community building, fundraising and business development.”
Mr.
Chan succeeds Ms. Yen Chan, who will now be focusing her time on her
family. “We are grateful for Yen’s
service as the first Executive Director for APACC and wish her continued
successes in her business endeavors,” Young added.
Mr.
Chan served as a community outreach manager for Montgomery County Executive

said Chan. “I hope APACC will play a
role in providing full opportunities to all.”
