Charles Town, WV -- Dramatically elevating the regional entertainment scene as part of its $40 million expansion, Hollywood Casino at Charles Town Races has opened Skybox Sports Bar and the H Lounge located above an adjacent to the Casino's table games party pit. The sophisticated lounge and high-energy bar offer guests a new level of social interaction and entertainment, and cap a year of exciting growth that began with the launch of table games last summer and the addition of the contemporary American steakhouse, Final Cut in November.

Perched above the gaming floor, the Skybox Sports Bar created an exclusive, chic atmosphere featuring everything for the die-hard fan including a wide variety of beers on tap, fabulous pub fare and comfortable seating for up to 175 for every big game. For the heartiest of eaters, the Skybox Sports Bar menu includes "the Beast," a two-pound all-beef burger complemented by a half-pound of smoke house bacon, a full head of lettuce, a pound of fries and more.

Overseeing the operational efforts, Vice President of Operations, Jim Boutcher, speaks of his excitement: "Te Skybox and H Lounge are the ultimate blend of dining and entertainment and showcase the new dynamic of the modern gaming industry."

The perfect complement to Hollywood's highly successful party pit, the casino floor-level H Lounge comes alive with the sounds of live entertainment and DJ selections as guests dance the night away. And for a more relaxing experience, Hollywood's expert mixologists prepare a broad selection of martinis and cocktails that can be enjoyed at the square-shaped bar or in soft-cushioned seating. Also, an expansive video wall, comprised of 18 individual flat screens, and more than 51 individual screens engage guests in hours of thrilling entertainment and sports action. Cover banks and special regional acts are featured atop the all-new H Lounge entertainment stage.

Marked by the grandeur and modern design of new Hollywood, the H Lounge and Skybox add to the mix of offerings, including table games, slots, and live thoroughbred horse racing at Charles Town.

The Skybox Sports Bar is open Monday-Thursday, 4, p.m. - midnight; Friday 4 p.m.-1 a.m.; Saturday 11 a.m.-1 a.m., and Sunday 11 a.m.-midnight. The H Lounge is open seven days a week noon-2 a.m.
