Hayashi new OCA Executive Director

OCA National President Ken Lee announced that effective immediately, Tom Lim Hayashi would be OCA’s interim Executive Director. He also thanked George C. Wu for his years of service as executive director.

Remarked Lee: “I believe Tom’s extensive experience as a nonprofit executive specializing in program development, fundraising, marketing, and organizational development will be a tremendous asset for OCA.”

“As a long-time member, leader, and consultant to OCA, I am humbled by this new appointment,” said Hayashi. He added he looked forward to “supporting our ardent efforts to further our work in achieving cultural, economic, and political equity and equality for all Asian Pacific Americans.”

Hayashi is the former OCA president of the Greater Los Angeles Chapter. He is the organizational development consultant to the current strategic planning process. For years, he has been providing program development services, including Mentoring Asian American Professionals (MAAP) Program, B3 Leadership Summit, and National Convention.
