New York–Filipino and local dignitaries joined together at a “friendraiser” and reception to mark the launch on May of Friends of CFSI. The Manila-based Community and Family Services International (CFSI), is a non-profit organization that seeks to raise awareness and support in the United States. Its mission for more than 30 years has been to work throughout the Asia-Pacific Region to rebuild the lives of refugees and others impacted by persecution, armed conflict, natural disasters, and other exceptionally difficult circumstances.
